Tasks and commitment - Tareas y compromiso

CompassMe would not have come to light so quickly if we had not committed. You learn as you build, but when you state "this is the deadline" and share it in public, you have a big commitment to yourself. That's why it's much harder to quit and give up.
We've been adding to-do lists as we've been writing our chapters, many have been left loose, and it gives us a sense of having left loose ends.
If you want to build, you have to end up with a bit of a messy house because of the nature of the creative process. The important thing is to tidy up afterwards because if you always have everything in order, maybe you are not giving yourself the space to create.

CompassMe no hubiera salido tan rápido a la luz, sino nos hubiéramos comprometido. Al ir construyendo se aprende, pero al decir “de esta fecha no pasa” y compartirlo en público tienes un compromiso grande contigo misma. Por eso es mucho más difícil bajarte del carro.
Hemos ido añadiendo listas de tareas conforme escribíamos nuestros capítulos, muchas se han ido quedando sueltas y nos da una sensación de haber ido dejando cabos sueltos.
Si quieres hacer, tienes que acabar con la casa un poco desordenada por la naturaleza del proceso creativo. Lo importante es poner orden después, porque si siempre lo tienes todo en orden es que tal vez no te estés dando ese espacio de creación.
